Under moderate supervision maintains supplies, oversees on site drop off /pick up and communicates with Council about busses; communicates professionalism with parents; coordinates with kitchen regarding dietary needs and pack outs; assists with e-camp activities, supports the camp director in all facets of the camp program.
- Delivers materials, food and supplies to units and out based activities.
- Responsible for purchasing camp supplies to include coordination of regular session shopping trips and places orders for supplies with approved vendors. Reviews and replenishes all camp supply inventories.
- Responsible for daily camper blog; taking and uploading camper photos; printing parent e-mails and distributing; and overall management of e-camp software.
- Oversees bus stop and on site drop off/pick up procedures and operations, including but not limited to camper/parent check-in, managing bus chaperones, and coordinating with council employees.
- Assists staff with other duties, to include but not limited to, participation in overall camp operations, as directed.
- Communicates dietary needs and pack out requests with the Kitchen Manager.
- Responsible for inspection, repair and storage of camp equipment as needed.
- Coordinates and participates in delivery of luggage on change days.
- Transports campers and staff as needed.
- Assists in maintenance, program and other camp areas as assigned by supervisor.
- Receives and executes daily task lists from camp director.
- Assists with food service and cleaning, as assigned.
- Oversees delivery and retrieval of U.S. mail and electronic mail for campers and staff.
- Maintains clear and positive written and verbal communication with all internal and external clients.
- Contributes to the diversity emphasis of the council by ensuring that all materials, activities and programs are sensitive to and reflective of the interest, values and needs of persons of all racial/ethnic groups, cultures, religions and abilities.
- Adheres to all council policies and procedures.
- Observes all safety precautions and complies with all council health and safety rules and procedures.
- Serves as a lead facilitator of archery or challenge course, as assigned.
- Supervises inventory of miscellaneous program supplies including camping equipment, t-shirts and patches and office supplies.
- Perform other duties, as assigned.
